I’m excited to be presenting a “Best Practice” lecture Thursday morning, March 1st @ the NAEA Convention in NYC! This will be my fourth time presenting over the course of the last six conventions and I will be speaking about a subject dear to my heart. Namely, that being a working artist is an essential requirement of good teaching practice. My session is titled: Mastery of Oneself: Artist as Educator and will hopefully provide some tips and strategies, some good books to inspire and an open opportunity for dialogue regarding the creative process and why Art Educators must place themselves in the forefront of the “new” creativity driving the language of business and technology. Hope to see you there!
